Pentagons repeated with mirroring and arraying will not give this star fractal, but rather a salamander like fractal as in the page titled " Creatures". However, with a bit of manipulation it is possible to create this rather beautiful fractal.
The following is created by shading it with green. This rather resembles a satellite image of an international airport.
