Most of disign ideas presented here were done around late 1980s and early 1990s when I was still a university student. I was deeply absorbed into creating new breed of surfaces and structures with purely aesthtic concerns in mind.
I did lot of sketches and discovered many things. One of the designs was this one below.
The triangular curls in the image can be designed in a way that it keeps on curling as in fractals. The amazing thing is that this has been achieved via a simple tessellation.
