Fractal concept can also be used to create tessellations. one simple example is hexagon. The following images show how hexagon fractalise into Sierpinski triangle.
One interesting thing is that the resulting intermediary fractals tessellate too. This means that if parent fractals tessellate, so do their offsprings.
