Pentagon is used here to generate this salamander looking fractal. Notice that the head and tail branch out from a star shape.

This is how it is done:
Start with a pentagon at the centre and it is mirrored and arrayed to get the above atage. No fractal has emerged yet.
By repeating the process above a rhombus has appeared.
A primitive stage of salamander has emerged.
As long as the same procedure is followed, new creatures will appear with their size & number increased.
