Another square fractals that I stumbled onto is this strikingly castle-like one. The top image is created by tiling, which resemble Persian carpet.
Can you figure out how I did it? It is quite easy when you look at the corner of the fractal for clue.

There is no doubt that there are still a lot of fractals waiting to be invented or discovered, even from young students, because the concept is quite easy enough to be grasped by anyone with elementary geometry.
